Once upon a time, I was a hairdresser—a good one, mind you. But a single night class in floral design with my mom changed everything. Our local votech was the venue, and my mom and I were just there to have a fun evening. Turns out, I had a knack for arranging flowers. I mean, I was really good at it from day one. Who knew, right?

Life has its own way of nudging us where we’re meant to be. I became unemployed that same year. Being young and in my 20s, it was the perfect time for a fresh start. So, what did I do? I decided to plunge headlong into the florist industry, starting from the bottom at a corporate gig with 1-800-Flowers. Fast forward to today, and here we are! It's been a fantastic journey, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. In fact, it was the best decision I ever made.
